Digital Support for People with Diabetes<\/strong><\/h2><\/h2><\/div>

When diabetes is part of everyday life, information about foods and nutritional values becomes an important tool in daily diabetes management. Carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, in particular, play a central role in dietary decisions\u2014and this is exactly where WETID<\/a> comes in.<\/p>\n

The app helps people with diabetes quickly and easily access relevant information about foods. In this way, WETID helps users better assess everyday dietary situations and make informed decisions about their diabetes management.<\/p>\n

However, even successful digital health solutions must continue to evolve. To ensure the existing application is technically future-proof, improve its scalability, and better meet future requirements, WETID decided to undertake a comprehensive modernization of the app\u2014in collaboration with BAYOOMED.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Making a proven solution ready for the future<\/strong><\/h3><\/h2><\/div>

Over the years, the original version of WETID had established itself as a valuable resource for people with diabetes. At the same time, the existing technical infrastructure was increasingly reaching its limits.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we were looking for a partner who not only excels at modern software engineering but also understands the specific requirements of digital health applications.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with BAYOOMED, we developed a concept to technologically rebuild the existing application, increase its scalability, and ensure its long-term development.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

From the very beginning, the focus was not simply on implementing individual requirements, but on jointly developing the best possible solution.<\/p>\n

BAYOOMED contributed its many years of experience in the fields of digital health and diabetes care. At the same time, WETID\u2019s extensive practical knowledge was directly incorporated into product development. Through continuous dialogue, new ideas were discussed, existing features were refined, and future requirements were taken into account at an early stage.<\/p>\n<\/div>

This focus on users\u2019 actual needs continues to shape the further development of WETID to this day. It ensures that when new features are added, the emphasis is not only on technical capabilities but, above all, on practicality, ease of use, and real-world benefits in everyday life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

As part of the project, the existing application will be comprehensively modernized and migrated to a new technological platform. In addition to the technical upgrade, additional features will be integrated, and the foundation for future enhancements will be laid.<\/p>\n

This creates a powerful, scalable, and future-proof platform that can continue to reliably support people with diabetes in their daily lives.<\/p>\n<\/div>
