  • Automated transmission: For information based on measurable parameters (e.g., Puls or respiratory rate, medication administration via pens, pumps, or inhalers, physical activity)

This data, which is continuously transmitted, is stored either on the device itself or in the cloud, where it is permanently accessible to users. In addition, they enable medical professionals to analyze the data and monitor a wide variety of parameters over an extended period—parameters that were previously recorded only sporadically (e.g., during visits to a doctor’s office or hospital).
